Peach Crisp

Serves: 4-5


This peach crisp is easy, simple and delicious! You can use any fresh fruit but would recommend sticking to peaches, blackberries or blueberries.

Ingredients

~5 fresh peaches, skin on + cubed

1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed

1 cup flour

1-2 tbs cinnamon, to taste

1 stick butter, at room temperature


Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, add in flour, cinnamon and sugar.

  2. Cube the butter and using your fingers, massage the butter into the dry mixture until it forms a crumb like texture / topping.

  3. Heat oven to 425°F.

  4. Place your cut up peach into a medium oven-safe baking dish, top with the crumble. Make sure to pack in a little tightly at first and then more loosely towards the top of the dish.

  5. Bake for 25 min or until the crisp browns, then lower heat to 350. Cook for another 10-15 min. It should cook down the juices and thicken a little.

  6. Remove from the oven, let cool for 20 minutes and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
