Servings: 2-3

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Using ingredients that most people have in their pantry, you can create a simple and delicious glaze for your salmon in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon cut into thinner pieces

2 tbs olive oil

2 tbs butter

Salt & pepper to taste

Glaze

¼ cup honey

2-3 tbs chicken broth

2-3 tbs lemon juice

~ ¼ tsp tsp garlic powder

½ tbs cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon filet into smaller and equal sized pieces and pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. Season the cuts generously with salt & pepper.

  3. In a bowl, combine glaze ingredients and mix thoroughly and set aside.

  4. In a pan over medium high heat, add olive oil and half of the butter.

  5. Cook skin side down for 5 min, or until crispy and halfway cooked. Then flip over and cook for another 3 min and turn heat to medium. You may need a lid to help cook the fish more evenly.

  6. Add in 1 tbs of butter, and let it melt and start to bubble.

  7. Add in the glaze/sauce and it will start to thicken.

  8. Turn the salmon over and spoon the sauce over it.

  9. Plate, squeeze with fresh lemon, and enjoy!
