Makes: 9-10 small biscuits

Prep Time: 5-10 min

Cook Time: 15 min

This recipe is quicker and less fussy than your average biscuit recipe. You can put in a little less effort and get just as much taste.

Ingredients

1 stick cold unsalted butter, cut into tiny pieces

1 ½ cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp kosher salt

¾ cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk your flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. In a food processor, take turns adding your dry ingredients and then your butter. Pulse/chop your ingredients 2-3 times or until it forms small pea sized pieces and transfer back into your mixing bowl.

  5. Add in milk, and using a fork, loosely mix until the dough is a little sticky, and shaggy.

  6. To form the biscuits, use a lightly buttered ¼ measuring cup and press the dough in semi tightly. Place them on your baking sheet and bake for about 15 min.

  7. Let cool for 5 minutes and transfer to a wire rack.

  8. Serve warm with butter, or whatever you prefer. Enjoy!
