Crispy, tangy and spicy fried shrimp will never steer you wrong, especially when accompanied by fried garlic.

Ingredients
Sauce
1 cup Frank's Hot Sauce
½ cup butter
2 tbs white vinegar
½ tbs worcestershire sauce
½ tsp cayenne
½ tsp garlic powder
½ cup brown sugar
1 tbs sriracha
1 tbs rice vinegar
1 tbs honey
Fry
1 lb large shrimp (peeled, deveined, tail removed)
¾ cup cornstarch
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 eggs, beaten and lightly seasoned
Vegetable oil, for frying
Handful of parsley, chopped, for garnish
2 tsp garlic, finely minced and fried, for garnish
Instructions
In a medium sauce pot, add the sauce ingredients. Bring to a simmer, let cook for 3 min, then reduce to low-medium for another 5 min. Remove from the heat, strain out the extra bits and let the sauce cool.
Heat vegetable oil to 350°F in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
In another mixing bowl, whisk together cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Using a small but deep bowl or in a small tupperware, whisk together eggs and lightly season them.
Dip 1-2 shrimp at a time first in the egg batter, dredge the shrimp in the dry mixture, shaking any excess off, and repeat step 5 for an even thicker and crispier finish.
Once the oil is hot, drop the shrimp in, making sure not to overcrowd as it will cook slower and likely more unevenly. Fry in batches, if needed. Once golden brown, remove and let cool on a paper-towel lined plate or rack.
Once the shrimp has partially cooled and the oil has dripped off, in a big mixing bowl, add in a couple tbs of the wet sauce mixture, the fried shrimp and mix well, making sure to evenly coat the shrimp. Plate up, garnish with fried garlic, and chopped parsley. Enjoy!
