Fresh, sweet and delicious. This simple salad is for those who don’t always want the leafy greens because sometimes it can be nice to switch it up.

Ingredients

¼ cup olive oil

2 tbs red wine vinegar

1 tbs honey

1 large naval orange

1 large satsuma

1 large grapefruit

Salt & pepper to taste

Mint, to garnish

Basil, to garnish

  1. Peel by cutting the top and bottom off each fruit and then slice the rest of the peel off, making sure to cut close to the fruit as possible. This technique is called supreming. You can also cut it however you feel is easiest, but this way can be fun.

  2. Plate the segments of fruit onto a plate or bowl.

  3. Mix the olive oil, red wine vinegar, honey, and salt and pepper together. Drizzle as much dressing as you’d like over your salad.

  4. Roll up a few pieces of basil and mint, slice thinly (chiffonade) and garnish as desired.

  5. Enjoy!
