Serves: 1
Prep Time: 5-10 min
Add some brown sugar lace to the inside of your glass to up your latte game.

Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup hot water
Espresso, or strong coffee
Milk, or milk substitute
Ice, optional
Instructions
Combine the water and sugar in a pan and simmer over low-medium heat until dissolved. Make sure to not stir or it'll form too many air bubbles and start to crystalize. The longer you cook it, the thicker it will get. Make sure to stop when it gets to about the thickness of maple syrup. Let it cool before using.
Tilt your glass to the side and slowly pour in the sugar mixture, turning the glass as you go, until the sides are lightly covered.
Throw in your ice, milk, coffee and enjoy!
NOTE: You will have extra brown sugar syrup and if it’s not thick enough it will start to slowly sink to the bottom which could make the drink sweeter than intended. On the other hand, if you cook it too long, it will start to crystalize and hardened.
