Serves: 3-4

Prep Time: 3 min

Cook Time: 6+ min

Another easy air fryer recipe to add to the books. Perfect for a summer day! You can also do this on the grill if you don’t have an air fryer.

Ingredients

2-3 peaches, cut in half and pit removed

3 tbs butter, soft

2 tbs sugar, or more as needed

¼ tsp cinnamon

Garnish

Flaky sea salt, for garnish

Cinnamon, or cinnamon sugar mix, for garnish

Vanilla ice cream, to serve with

Extra virgin olive oil, optional light drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cut your peaches in half, remove the pits, and lightly brush with some olive oil.

  3. Place the peach flat side down into the airfryer and cook for 6 min at 350 F.

  4. Check the peaches, should be softened, aromatic and a little crispy on the edges.

  5. Flip the peaches over, and brush your butter, sugar and cinnamon mixture over the peaches / fill the peaches. Cook for another 4-6 minutes, or until crispy on the edges and appears semi-crystallized. Would recommend letting any extra drippings go, otherwise me be too sweet. Parts of the peaches will have started to brulee, which is what you want.

  6. Serve with vanilla ice cream, and any garnishes and enjoy!

NOTE: For those grilling, you’ll want to see faint or firm grill marks on your peaches. Cooking time may vary to get the right consistency with the wet mixture after you flip them.

NOTE 2: You can also slice your peaches instead which help them crisp much faster, but the clean up and plating is a bit messier.

NOTE 3: When mixing your wet mixture, its best to create a creamed butter and sugar paste like consistency.
