Summer Picnic Essentials: Toast

Toast appetizers are super simple, mouth watering, and in this case, seasonal. We thought it would be best to highlight the great flavors of figs by pairing it with a more mild cheese & a lil drizzle of honey.
Serves: 2
Prep Time: 5 min
Ingredients
Bread loaf of choice, sliced & toasted
2 fresh figs, sliced
½ cup of ricotta cheese
Honey, to taste
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Process
Slice the loaf, and toast desired amount of bread.
Spread a little ricotta cheese on top of the toast.
Thinly slice the figs and place onto the top.
Drizzle with honey, to taste.
Sprinkle salt & pepper to taste.
