Using our fresh pasta recipe from this summer, we wanted to elevate it with a nice coupling of herbs to give a simple dish, a big kick of flavor. Every ingredient is adjustable to your liking, but we here at Two Peas In A Pod Seattle love spice & herbs.

Serves: 2

Prep Time: 10 min

Cook Time: 10-15 min

Ingredients

2 packages of fresh basil, finely chopped

½ cup parsley, finely chopped

5 cloves garlic, minced

Chili flakes, to taste

Salt & pepper, to taste

Parmesan, grated (optional)

Process

  1. In a large sauté pan over medium high heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil.

  2. Once the pan is adequately heated and the oil spread evenly on the surface, add in the minced garlic, half of the fresh herbs, and the chili flakes.

  3. Once you smell the aromatics, toss in the pasta and coat evenly with the herb/butter sauce.

  4. Remove the pan from the heat, plate the pasta, add the remaining herbs and sprinkle grated cheese on top.

  5. Enjoy!
